MIA

I've been MIA mostly because of this.

But here's whats been going on:
**It's DECEMBER OMG**
Wasn't it just like, 2004 a little while ago?
2009? wth.

December is good because that means city lights.
And boy do I love city lights.
And crazy city crowds.
I really enjoy Seattle.

Made some buttons - nothing too special.
Maybe need to 'oomph' up the label a bit. Too boring?

These are so-so.
But they're really soft. :3
They have more little stitching & patterns on them in the back.

front.

back - pocket with creepy little guys.

I love yetis, I tried to make some.
So-so.
They have little pockets too.

Little green men.
I don't know.
They too, have pockets.

I guess I felt like making pockets that week.

Quickies to give to family.

A labor of love - the sewing machine needle went
right through the very edge of my finger.
Lucky it missed my nail, that would've been naaasty.

It didn't hurt, but felt kind of neat.

Unfortunately my fingers are so totally ripped,
I broke my needle.
So buff.

But this was the end result.
A deformed totoro softie for my grandma's 80th birthday this Sunday.
Happy Birthday Grandma! Love you!

(his back)

The end.
Stay warm!

soggy

In a bad mood, so I made this:

Hate how it came out.
Made me feel ick.
Shopping cheers me up.

...Until I realized...

((Graphite Pumps))

...no $$$ to spend...

Which puts me back at square one.
What a soggy feeling.

happy halloween!

Happy Halloween children!

This is my pumpkin.
Squirrels sharing nuts, is true love.

It took me a while to make.
And this year I actually used the pumpkin seeds.
Baked them in the oven with a butt load of
butter and salt. Mmmmm.
It tastes like the bad part of popcorn.
Not bad!

If you can't tell, our theme at work was
Circus Friques & Geex!
We won the Best-Decorated-Department!
Heck yes, after how many hours of decorations...
It was way fun.

I was the dancing, smoking, fez-wearing circus monkey.
I made my monkey ears/fez and tail (hard to see) out of felt.
It was pretty novice, but I was proud of it.
It also keeps my head/ears pretty warm.
Maybe I'll wear it again when I ride my bike?

Halloween @ work is also fun, because the kids
come Trick-or-Treatin'

And they are the cutest things ever.

I love their expressions.

I think I still would prefer a dog,
but kids sure do make me laugh.

Happy Candy Day!

hunting: warmth

So if you haven't noticed - its getting cold.
You know what that means:
Time to get warm!

Adorable sweatshirt scarf makes me feel like I should
make one myself. But when this is already made
and cute, well what the heck.
((Etsy Grey Scarf))

It's true, I've seen sewing tutorials for these hoodie-scarfs.
But this one just looks so fine and well-made. I love it!
((Etsy Scarf Hoodlet))

It's double true that I'm not a fan of the yuppie.
But gosh darn, when a guy looks like a gentleman,
it sure is pleasing to the eye.
(casual-easy-going gentleman, not a stick-up-ass gentleman)
((GAP Hooded Blazer))

Hottie Hottie!
This jacket will deflect wind and attract grins!
((CTRL, The Dempsey Leather Jacket))

And my little novelty find.
Honey, you look like a toasty lot of fun.
Love your shoes too.

STAY WARM!
